Event Overview
We are reaching out to leaders who are willing to use their influence and commitment to making our community stronger. People know your name, trust your voice, and look to you as someone who cares about the future of our region.
On October 17, 2026, fifteen local leaders will come together for one purpose: to raise awareness and critical funding for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, addiction, and housing instability in our community.
As a Community Champion, your commitment is simple:
• Raise a minimum of $3,500 through your personal and professional network
• Help spread awareness about the challenges faced by our neighbors experiencing homelessness
• Participate in the event and stand alongside other community leaders committed to creating change
While the event includes an awareness experience designed to foster empathy and understanding, the true purpose is much greater. This challenge is about using our collective influence to provide hope, housing, recovery support, outreach services, and opportunities for individuals working toward stability.
Your fundraising goal of $3,500 may sound significant, but it becomes achievable when broken down:
• 35 people giving $100
• 70 people giving $50
• A few business sponsors and personal supporters
Most importantly, you will not be doing it alone. OATH will provide fundraising tools, social media graphics, sample posts, and support throughout the campaign. We even provide a fundraising website where donors can make donations on your behalf. You can also invite team members to assist you in fundraising, and teams can even track their progress toward reaching their fundraising goals.
Together, our goal is to raise more than $52,500 to directly impact the lives of those we serve throughout Ware, Pierce, Brantley, and surrounding counties.
This is an opportunity for our community to come together, increase awareness, inspire compassion, and demonstrate that everyone deserves a chance to rebuild their life.
