Ken Taft serves as the chairperson of the OATH Recovery, Inc. Board of Directors.  He seeks to transform empathy into action for those facing life’s hardest battles. Guided by the belief that every individual deserves dignity and a safe place to call home, Ken also co-chairs the Waycross-Ware County Community Housing Initiative to actively expand affordable housing in our community. Having walked alongside loved ones struggling with substance use disorder, his goal is to ensure that anyone seeking recovery is met with the open arms, compassion, and structural support needed to truly thrive. He is a graduate and former chairperson of Leadership Waycross. Ken earned his juris doctorate from Mercer University in 2007 and utilizes his diverse legal practice—spanning personal injury, civil litigation, estate planning, and non-profit law—as an extension of his lifelong mission to protect, advocate for, and uplift others.
